Hosted by the United States Fashion Industry Association (USFIA) and GDLSK LLP

Join the United States Fashion Industry Association (USFIA) and Arthur Bodek, Partner at Grunfeld Desiderio Lebowitz Silverman & Klestadt LLP for a webinar on what to do when U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) makes you pay duty on your merchandise that should be duty-free! (Or, what to do when good claims go bad!)

Increasingly, importers are finding themselves issued duty bills (or even penalties) with respect to what should have been duty-free merchandise. This often stems from importers making the wrong duty-free claims (e.g., American Goods Returned vs. NAFTA; FTA Originating vs. Tariff Preference Levels, and many others). In this webinar, learn about some of the mistakes importers make in connection with their duty-free claims, potential Customs consequences, and importer rights and obligations). The presentation will be followed by time for Q&A from the audience.

This webinar will be recorded and distributed to registered attendees.

This webinar will be eligible for CCS credit through the National Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association of America (NCBFAA).
