OHL RGBLogo hires

In 2016, the United States Fashion Industry Association (USFIA) will continue to put a focus on the global customs and logistics issues that impact all of our members, as well as provide education and training in this area. We’re pleased to announce that we’ve selected OHL as our Customs Broker Partner for 2016 and 2017 to help with these endeavors.

OHL is one of the largest 3PLs in the world, providing integrated global supply chain management solutions including transportation, warehousing, customs brokerage, freight forwarding, and import and export consulting services. In November of 2015, OHL was acquired by French-based logistics provider GEODIS. Throughout 2016, the OHL brand will transition to the GEODIS brand.  The combination of these two companies will create a significant global presence to help customers expand where ever their businesses require.

“OHL has been a member of the association since its inception, and as our very first Customs Broker Partner in 2015, provided unique, timely insight on critical issues, including the implementation of ACE, working with the Centers of Excellence & Expertise (CEEs), and ensuring compliance in your customs filings,” says Julia K. Hughes, President of USFIA. “Over the next two years, OHL will continue to serve as a key point-of-contact on these issues, especially as the ACE implementation deadline approaches.”

In 2016, OHL will invite USFIA members to participate in other OHL-sponsored educational opportunities, as well as:

USFIA’s partners support us in our mission while helping us amplify the industry’s voice on the critical issues and keep our members informed about the regulatory challenges of today and tomorrow. For more information on our partners for 2016, visit www.usfashionindustry.com
