The United States Fashion Industry Association (USFIA) is excited to announce that we will continue our partnership with PwC’s Customs and International Trade Practice for two more years, helping us deliver timely, critical information to global brands and retailers as well as develop innovative educational and networking events to help advance the industry’s goals.
PwC’s Customs and International Trade Practice, comprising an expansive global network of dedicated customs and international trade specialists located in over 60 countries, will remain USFIA’s Premier Partner for 2018 and 2019. PwC will work collaboratively with us to support our mission and activities while helping us keep our members informed about key international trade and customs issues.
“We are thrilled to partner with PwC for two more years,” says Julia K. Hughes, President of USFIA. “As our Premier Partner in 2016/2017, PwC brought the firm’s wide-ranging expertise to our members by covering topics from customs audits in the United States, to supply chain transparency best practices, to how to understand import requirements in China, Mexico, and the European Union. We’re excited to work even more closely with the global partnership team and utilize the breadth and depth of the firm’s resources around the globe.”
In 2018, PwC will provide insights into topics such as:
- Global Trade Partnerships
- Tax reform updates and the potential impacts on the apparel industry and trade environment
- Regular updates on customs and trade developments around the globe from our PwC network
- What to monitor from a regulatory point of view in 2018
- Transfer pricing, sustainability and artificial intelligence from PwC subject-matter experts
- Thought leadership and insights into key U.S. customs topics such as First Sale, NAFTA, Foreign-Trade Zones, etc.
Additionally, PwC will be an active participant in USFIA's webinars and industry events throughout the year, including hosting the annual pre-conference event and networking reception prior to the annual conference in New York in November. Your first opportunity to meet members of the PwC partnership team and learn from their expertise is Fashion Forward: San Francisco on February 1st at Levi Strauss & Co.
USFIA’s partners support us in our mission while helping us amplify the industry’s voice on the critical issues and keep our members informed about the regulatory challenges of today and tomorrow. For more information on our partners for 2018, visit www.usfashionindustry.com.
