The United States Fashion Industry Association (USFIA) joined with international business and retail associations in sending a statement to World Trade Organization (WTO) Director General Roberto Azevedo and other world leaders to show continued support for the WTO agenda. The letter calls on the leaders to “safeguard to the WTO system,” “progress on agriculture and fisheries subsidies,” and “take account of the new trade environment.” The statement is available here.
