Sourcing Trends & Challenges in 2017: Highlights from USFIA's Annual Benchmarking Study
- Details
In July 2017, the United States Fashion Industry Association (USFIA) released the fourth annual Fashion Industry Benchmarking Study, a survey of 34 executives from leading textile, apparel, and fashion brands, retailers, importers, and wholesalers, with some interesting results about executives’ views on trade policy, sourcing costs, and the five-year outlook for the industry.
In this webinar, study author, Dr. Sheng Lu of the University of Delaware, spoke about the study results, including some of the key trends and how they impact your business. He was joined by USFIA Board Member David Miller, former senior vice president and sourcing executive for Hudson’s Bay Company (Saks Fifth Avenue, Lord & Taylor, Gilt Groupe, and more), who will discuss his views on the results and some of the trends related to trade policy and free trade agreements.
