The leadership contest of the Conservative Party in the UK has come to an end and Boris Johnson, supporter of the “Vote Leave” campaign, is now Prime Minister. Johnson immediately made it clear following his appointment that the UK will be leaving the EU “no matter what” on October 31st, making a no-deal Brexit more probable than ever.

If the UK leaves the EU without a deal, tariffs and non-tariff measures (e.g. sanitary and phytosanitary measures) will apply to goods crossing the border. Generally, the UK will be treated as a ‘third country’. A no-deal Brexit affects VAT, product standards and licensing, movement of people/employees, data storage and movement, sales agreements (Incoterms), insurance policies, some financial contracts and more.

Businesses need to understand how a no-deal Brexit affects them throughout their operations and how government administrations in the EU are preparing. Join USFIA Premier Partner PwC for a webinar providing a Brexit status update with special focus on the apparel industry, in addition to sharing professional and practical insights.

This webinar will be recorded and distributed to everyone who registers.
