Alaina van Horn, an attorney and advisor in the Intellectual Property Rights Branch's Regulations & Rulings DIrectorate at the U.S. Customs & Border Protection Office of Trade, will provide an introduction to CBP's IPR border enforcement regime and an overview of best practices in partnering with CBP to protect your IPR and prevent the importation of counterfeit merchandise. She will also cover recent legal developments in the intellectual property right arena in light of the Trade Facilitation and Trade Enforcement Act of 2015.
