Apparel Classification Workshop: Meet the National Import Specialists

Hosted by the United States Fashion Industry Association (USFIA) and U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP)

USFIA invites you to participate in a meeting with key National Import Specialists and gain a better understanding of the U.S. Customs & Border Protection classification process.

After a brief introduction and overview of the classification process by Deborah Marinucci, Branch Chief of the National Commodity Specialist Division, you will have the opportunity to talk informally with each National Import Specialist in a trade fair-style environment. The following NIS will be attending:

**A (v) next to the name denotes that the NIS will be attending virtually and there will be an NISA at the table to help with the virtual meeting.**
 

You are encouraged to come prepared with specific questions about classification for the one-on-one discussions—and bring samples, too!

NEW THIS YEAR: Submit a Binding Ruling request on site. There will be a room set aside for submitting Binding Ruling requests. You will be required to bring the ruling application paperwork with you and samples are encouraged, but optional.

 

The deadline to register is 5pm on Tuesday, November 8. 

This event is free for Apparel Importers Trade & Transportation Conference attendees on November 10th.
