U.S. Customs and Border Protection has created an informational webpage on counterfeiting, called “Fake Goods, Real Dangers.” The page includes information about the economic impacts, health and safety concerns, and legal implications of counterfeit goods, both for those buying and selling them. The site includes a link to report counterfeiting, and explains some of the challenges presented by e-commerce. See the website here.
