From USA-ITA OFF THE CUFF for November 13, 2012

USA-ITA Associate Member Port Global Logistics, based in Jamaica, New York, is leading a wonderful effort to provide relief to Hurricane Sandy victims.

Headquartered just 20 minutes from Long Beach and Broad Channel, two of the most affected communities, the company is collecting much-needed donations of clothing, cleaning supplies, and construction supplies, as well as gift certificates and cash. The donations will be delivered to the Mayor of Long Beach and the affected communities. To learn how you can help, read the letter from Joe Caban, Vice President of Global Business Development for Port Global Logistics.

We applaud Port Global Logistics for leading this important effort, and we hope everyone in the New York and New Jersey area is faring well after the conference.
