Summer is already here in Washington, D.C.—but we’re not letting the heat slow us down! In fact, we’ve already got several important webinars and events on the agenda for June and July, and more in the works.

On June 11th, we will host our first biannual State of the Industry webinar, open to all USFIA brand, retailer, importer, and wholesaler members. During this town-hall style event, our leadership, legal counsel, and partners will present updates on trade and customs policy and discuss association activities. You’ll want to make plans to participate live, because the webinar will conclude with a confidential Q&A so you can ask questions and provide suggestions so we can ensure your membership is working for you.

Our partners also have lined up two exciting webinars. On May 28th, several OHL International brokers will provide insight into how to respond to FTA verification requests and ensure you’re compliant. On June 18th, PwC will provide an update on Foreign Trade Zones.

Other webinar topics in the works include the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act, labeling for performance wear, and fur and leather requirements! If there’s a topic you’d like to see covered, or you’d like to cover yourself, let us know!

And be sure to save the date of July 30th for Trade Is Fashionable! USFIA’s Washington Trade Symposium in Washington, D.C. For the first time, we’ll be bringing our members together in the Nation’s Capital for advocacy training, issues briefings, and meetings with key government officials, so you won’t want to miss it! We will announce registration details in the coming weeks.
