USA-ITA Board of Directors Elects New Chairman, Officers
On March 15, the Board of Directors for the United States Association of Importers of Textiles and Apparel elected a new Chairman and officers. Maureen Gray, Vice President of International Trade for Polo Ralph Lauren, is the new Chairman.
"I'm looking forward to positioning USA-ITA as a leader in promoting free and open trade in this uncertain political and global climate," said Gray. "We have some work to do to ensure that the Free Trade Agreements and Preference Programs are true twenty-first century agreements, but I'm confident that we have the expertise and support to accomplish our goals."
Other officers elected to the USA-ITA Board include:
- Vice-Chairman: John Clark, Vice President, Michar LLC
- Secretary: Steve Odom, Director, International Trade and Regulatory Compliance, Eddie Bauer
- Treasurer: Michael Singer, Director, Customs and Social Compliance, Macy’s Merchandising Group
