The Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), a NGO supporting responsible cotton production worldwide, and the United States Fashion Industry Association (USFIA), which represents textile companies, apparel brands, retailers, importers and wholesalers, announced Tuesday plans to join efforts to promote responsible cotton sourcing. The partnership allows BCI and USFIA to benefit from each other’s expertise, and makes BCI is an associate member of USFIA, and USFIA a member of BCI.
