USFIA Joins Industry Letter on FTZ Operations

This week, the United States Fashion Industry Association (USFIA) joined the National Association of Foreign Trade Zones (NAFTZ) and other apparel and retail groups in a letter to U.S. Customs & Border Protection’s Office of Trade listing outstanding issues regarding Partner Government Agencies (PGAs) and the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) specific to Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operations. The letter is a follow-up to discussions last year on sharing this information with the Border Interagency Executive Committee (BIEC) for their discussions on ACE implementation.
